Families, Kids, and Volunteers:

It's time to grab your snorkels and strap on your flippers, because we're DIVING INTO FRIENDSHIP WITH GOD this year at Scuba VBS 2024!

What is Scuba VBS? It’s an awesome summer event where kids learn all about God and His amazing love for them! Scuba VBS will be hosted at Free Christian Church for elementary students (grades 1st–6th) from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. from July 22-26. Early childhood students (ages 4-5, optional for 1st graders at parent’s discretion), will gather at St. Augustine’s Parish from 8:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. from July 22-26.

At Scuba VBS, kids explore what it means to have a friendship with God! Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, devour yummy treats, experience one-of-a-kind Bible adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God’s love, AND test out fun experiments that get their imaginations bubbling. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through God Sightings! Each day concludes with a Fin-tastic Finale that gets everyone involved and excited to live out what they’ve learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join in daily for this special time during the last 20 minutes of the day!

Kids attending Scuba VBS will also join a missions effort to raise money for Lazarus House Ministries, an organization that provides food, shelter, and advocacy to impoverished individuals in the Lawrence area.
